What’s this all about?

It started as Amy & DNoe’s festi-wedding in 2018. An event to celebrate our love. For one another, our family & friends, food, music, and the great outdoors!
And as our love continues to flourish, so does our appreciation for each and every bonding experience we share with others that we love. This festival reflects that growth and the appreciation we have for sharing our love with YOU.
So this is about gathering people that we love to celebrate the experiences we love the most in an exquisite mountain setting.
What will we do while we’re there?
We’ll have fun. We’ll share food and drink.
We’ll have an abundance of music – DJs, turntables and big speakers. Instruments and jam sessions.
And WAAAAY too much dancing.
We’ll have yoga and meditation sessions. We’ll talk philosophy.
We’ll have games – horseshoes, bocce ball and piñatas. We’ll make fires and howl at the moon!
We’ll dress weird and be weird.
Want to explore some of the natural beauty? Don’t blame you. The Colorado Trail runs right through the campgrounds, so if you’d like to go bike or hike around, go for it. And for the anglers among us, Buffalo Creek is a popular fishing area for brook trout, so bring the fishing rod!
Where will this take place?
The festival will return to its place of origin, the beautiful Meadows Group Campgrounds, located 45 miles south of Denver near the towns of Bailey and Buffalo Creek. We have reserved both group campsites, each of which can accommodate up to 150 people, so there will be PLENTY of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves! Visit the location page for more details.
When will this take place?
Thursday, August 18th – Early Arrival / Setup Day. Family-friendly vibes.
Friday, August 19th– Official start of the festival. Full party mode ensues.
Saturday, August 20th– Festi is in full swing. All the things.
Sunday, August 21st – Wind down / Detox day. Some people will leave, but many will stay. Some teardown starting to happen, but still keeping it going at a reasonable pace.
Monday, August 22nd – Full teardown and cleanup. Out by noon.
What will this cost?
This is not a for-profit event. As such, the cost of attendance will be whatever you feel is appropriate.
We do, however, have a non-financial request: brainstorm with us!
Do you have any friends with special artistic talents that would be a wonderful addition to this event? Do you have a hook up at a brewery? Know someone who runs a food truck? Anything you can tap into that would enhance the experience?
Our vision for NoeLoveFest is an event that is rooted in the community we form together and the amazing things we can create together!
Another way to pay to play? Volunteer to help!
Volunteering
The quest to create this festival experience is truly a labor of love. Many hours have been spent organizing and we still have plenty to do before the event kicks off. As such, aside from letting us know if you’re going to attend, we’d love for you to consider volunteering to join one (or more) organizational committees.
These groups of people will be responsible for ensuring that a particular aspect of the overall experience is well-planned and executed. Here are some of the committees we are forming:
- Finances – Developing budgets, & allocating resources
- Hospitality – Accommodations, transportation & out-of-towner support
- Site & Security – Safety, structure management (yurts, domes, etc), weather mitigation, cleanup
- Food & Beverage – Community meals, food and drink options
- Vending / Schwag – Support vendors and ensure attendees bring something home from the fest
- Technology / Sound / Visuals – Power, music, lighting and special effects
- Entertainment / Activities – Support for performers, organizing games, hikes, etc.
- Decorations / Art Installations – Decorating festival grounds and interactive art experiences
So please consider helping us to manifest this collective experience by offering to assist in an arena that compliments your unique skillset.
We’ll also need help from locals to set up and bring supplies. Got a ton of camp gear? Perhaps you could loan some to out-of-towners. Love to cook? Maybe you could prepare some food for a family meal. Let us know how you can help.
Of course, if you’re super busy and don’t have time for all that… That’s fine! We get it. Your presence is certainly a contribution and will be appreciated!
Can I bring a friend (or three)?
You are welcome to invite anyone you like with one contingency: YOU have to vouch for them and YOU need to check them if they get out of line.
This will be an environment that is safe and enjoyable for all.
You and everyone else in attendance are VIPs and shall be treated as such. To ensure this remains a VIP-only festival, any guest you invite should understand and respect this expectation.
So only invite people you trust.
Fair enough? Cool. Now who’s coming with you?
What is the dress attire for an event like this?

This will be a laid back event and we want you to be comfortable.
We also encourage you to get creative and express yourself! Think wedding meets Coachella meets Halloween meets Senior Prom at the Renaissance festival.

Been waiting for the perfect event to wear that adult onesie you got off the sale rack at Target? Go for it!
Or just shorts and flip flops will work. 🙂 Seriously, whatever you want to wear will be just fine.
I hate camping! Do I have to stay all night / sleep in a tent?
You should do whatever you feel comfortable doing. If you don’t want to stay in a tent, then don’t.
If you choose not to stay the night, here are some things you should consider:
- We absolutely do not want anyone driving intoxicated
- No cell service = Uber / Lyft is not an option
- The campgrounds are accessed via approximately 10 miles of windy dirt roads
- Closest towns are Buffalo Creek (9.2 miles / 23 mins) and Bailey (11.2 miles / 30 mins), but lodging is limited
If you decide that you definitely don’t want to camp and plan on leaving at some point, please let us know when you RSVP. There may be others that feel the same way and perhaps we could coordinate groups to ride back to civilization together.
I’m coming from afar, so what’s up with camp gear like tents, sleeping bags, etc?
We are asking our local friends who have extra gear to bring it along for the evening so we can minimize the overhead on this. There are also several Denver-area stores that offer camping rental packages for reasonable prices.
Let us know if you need gear when you submit your RSVP and we’ll do our best to accommodate everyone!
Am I allowed to bring my kids?
If you are coming for Thursday night, then definitely kid-friendly. However, when Friday afternoon rolls around…
Well this is definitely an adult-oriented event and there will be adult activities occurring. There will be music playing – probably all night long – and there will be more than a few inebriated adults running around.
Official answer is that it may be best to leave the kiddos back in civilization for this one. But hey… There is an abundance of space to spread out, so you do what you think is best for you and yours.
What about pets?

Absolutely! DNoe & Amy are now proud dog parents and Mr. Stick E. Noe shall be in attendance.
Feel free to bring your (well-behaved) pet(s) to the celebration!
