NoeLoveFest

A festival celebrating Noe love. A Noe lovefest, if you will.

Location

Meadows Group Campgrounds

NoeLoveFest will take place at the Meadows Group Campgrounds, located 45 miles south of Denver near the towns of Bailey and Buffalo Creek. You can find more information via the USDA Forest Service website.

There are two group sites, each accommodating up to 150 people, though we do not anticipate anywhere near that many attendees to the event.  So there will be PLENTY of space to spread out.

We rented them both so that one site can be designated as the well-lit common/communal area, which is where we will set up the music, make a bonfire and generally party down.  The second site will be away from the shenanigans so you can set up your tent area and catch some Z’s, if you so desire.

Amenities

Please note, there is no running water so bring plenty of drinking water with you!

Picnic tables There are 8 – 9 picnic tables for each of the 2 sites
Toilets Vault toilets enclosed in a structure in each site
(Primitive, but nicer than you think)
Parking General parking
25 vehicles max per site
Tent camping Open and wooded areas
(You can find a shade spot)
RVs / pop-ups Recreational vehicles within the parking area only

Directions

We used Google maps when we visited the campgrounds and it routed us through Bailey.  There was pretty good signage along the way and we had cell phone service almost all the way to the campsite and we will add some signs near the entrance gate.

IMPORTANT:  When you arrive to the campground entrance, the gate should be shut but will NOT be locked. Just hop out of your vehicle and swing the gate open and then shut it behind you after you drive in.

The campgrounds reservation website provides the directions below, which seem to be slightly longer and routes you through Buffalo Creek.  Either way should be fine:

USDA Forest Service directions: From Denver, Colorado, take Highway 285 southwest to Pine Junction, turn south on Jefferson County 126 and travel 15 miles to Buffalo Creek. Turn right on Forest Road 550 and drive 5 miles to the Meadows Group Campground.
